THE SUMMIT is The Flagship of Air and Space Professional Development and Education -- The PEDS

The PEDS comprises various specialized symposiums, conferences, and conventions: The Professional Education Symposium (PES); the Professional Development Symposium (PDS); Air and Space Enlisted Leadership Conferences (ELC), and the AFSA International Convention. The PEDS typically gathers in the third quarter of the calendar year at a location within the 48 contiguous United States.

During the PES, institutions of higher education are encouraged to design a tailored educational program that takes place over the initial two days.

The PDS takes place on the final three days and offers participants opportunities to listen to insights from senior leadership figures and esteemed professional speakers.

The ELC commences on the first two days and follows a modified agenda for the remaining three days. These specialized areas convene to manage Air and Space Forces-related affairs.

AFSA conducts its general membership affairs at its International Convention. AFSA representatives, general members, and International Committees exchange crucial information, deliberate on topics like AFSA's Legislative Platform for the forthcoming year, and establish goals and objectives.

In addition to AFSA’s general membership pursuits, AFSA takes great pride in delivering Professional Development sessions. These events feature keynote speeches from senior congressional decision-makers, leaders from the Department of Defense and Air and Space Forces, military historians, and other distinguished speakers. Each presenter offers valuable insights into the history, present state, and future directions of the Air Force. Furthermore, these sessions serve to enhance the already robust foundation of our professional Air and Space Forces.
